For the swaps I choose a subject and post the rules and ask people sign up to participate when the max is reached. I message them my address. The deadline is posted with the rules, everyone sends their creation to me by the deadline including a return envelop and return postage. I sort everything and return the finished product to the participants. It is fun to see what everyone creates as the theme is the same but everyone is so creative.

I have never set up a challenge but I think I try to come up with unique things to try. The challenges can be as simple as try a new technique as an embellishment or challenge to add 10 minutes of exercise to your daily routine. The challenge is then posted and the participants respond with their progress or frustration.

Maybe I can help by posting challenges or swaps. I work two jobs, both part time and also try to spend time with the grandchildren so I sometimes feel I have no time to play with my Cricut. Currently I am working on June 2010 so you can see I am behind. Now that fal is fast approaching, I hope to have more time to scrapbook. I enjoy the swaps and was considering starting one when September rolls around. Let's see if there is interest.

Hi, Cricut-licious Team! Our fearless team leader has taken a break, so I'll give this Team Leader thing a try. Our common interests obviously include our love of all things Cricut, so I'm at least on the same page with you there. I admit, however, that I'm not very good at challenges and at posting photos. I work full time, so I don't have a boat load of free time at home. Nonetheless, I'll try to keep up with all of you. If you have suggestions for me, I would LOVE to hear them, and I'll try my hardest to rise to the occasion. I'll learn from you, and if I can teach something along the way, then it's a win-win dealie-o!

In the spring of this year (2013), I sold my original Cricut Expression, all 73 of my cartridges, and my Gypsy. I wanted to buy a bicycle...and I did that (TREK Domane 5.2), but I really, REALLY missed my Cricut and my Gypsy, so...........I bought another Cricut (black one, this time), and I had another back-up Gypsy that I didn't sell, so I'm back in business as of last week! emoticon

I also love Stampin' Up!, and I am a loyal customer (former demonstrator).

My paper-crafting preference is card-making, but I'm a fair scrapbooker.

I'm currently putting together a paper bag scrapbook for a friend.

I have not used Cricut Craft Room, because I love my Gypsy so much! I guess you can't teach an old dog new tricks. One day, maybe.

I will post photos of some of my work soon. I can't wait to connect with you here.

Happy Cricut Crafting!

Live each day like it was your last.
