Hi, just new to Spark. Started yesterday and really happy with the site. I am a new runner and I'm not young, 42 so its been tough but I don't want to quit. I did 2 triathlons this summer just smaller ones. I love it, but have to say I find it hard. I thought I had pretty good cardio but running really kicks my butt. My legs can handle it but the breathing sucks. I hope this will improve with some weight loss and time. I love working towards the goal and its helped to keep the weight down. Still if I want to me successful I best take off another 20 lbs will make the run easier. My goal for next summer to complete the tri 5 min faster.
The good lord gave you a body that can stand most anything. Its your mind you have to convince.
I did not know what I was missing! I started running about 1 yr ago & about 4 months ago I fell in love with running! I love the way it makes me feel & the changes running has caused to my body! When I run it's just me, my iPod & what's beneath my feet.....
I am a runner.... (I want to increase my speed & distance while increase my health & decreasing my weight)
