Welcome! The Shasta Family YMCA has a mommy and me play group on Fridays I think, at 1030am? I think that sounds right. My kids are too old for that sort of thing. You should check out their website. They offer a lot. When my kids were baby and toddler age I was so grateful to have a healthy family centered place to spend time. I work there now, so I am biased, but I have been a member for about 17 years and it is a great place.
I also loved having a family membership to Turtle Bay Exploration Park. Before the days of part time work and school, my kids and I would hang out there a lot.
We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence then, is not an act, but a habit. ~ Aristotle

Hi - I'm brand new to the group and new-ish to the Redding area. We moved here last August with our 3 month old son and I haven't had a chance to get out much as I just recently became a SAHM. I've been trying to take walks around my neighborhood and occasionally I get into Redding to walk the River Trail.
I'm excited to get to know people in the area with goals of living a healthy lifestyle. I'm also interested in meeting people with small children (mine is 10 months right now) so that I can set up play dates for my little guy. I love taking walks with the stroller and going for hikes with the ergo.
