SSLEDGE7, I used to do the old Adkins myself years ago but am now doing the new with the vegetables. I am 4' 10" and 63 years old. You can see from my ticker I am way overweight. I am into it four weeks this last Monday and am down 10lbs. this morning.

Why are you looking to do the old Atkins as opposed to the new Atkins? I did the old one and got so tired of meat and cheese even though I love both of them. I was very happy when the new version came out and I could eat vegetables!

Good luck, you can do it.

1. Stop wasting money- Save money

2. Exercise- do something every day

3. Get organized- mise en place

4. Write a letter by hand at least once a week.

Every day this side of the sod is a good day-
not sure who said it

My animals make me happy, some people not so much- a bumper sticker

Oh - I know how it is when you are on the short side. I am only 5'2" myself, and carrying around an extra 40 pounds is not good for me or my joints.

Yes, my weight ticker is right and I lost overnight so it is now 128.8. I forgot to tell people I am only 4'8" tall..Need to lose 25 lbs. I did find a forum that does the 1972 Old atkins diet and am in the process of reading it. I weighed 105 lbs when I got married at 19.

emoticon Is your weight ticker right? It says you only weigh 129 pounds. I haven't weighed that since my mid twenties!

This is a great team for you - you'll find all the support and information you need.

I am trying to find people who do the 1972 Dr. Atkins Revolution Diet so I can have some friends.
