Hi, I'm Kristen. My husband is stationed at Lewis, but we live in Spanaway. We have a 2 1/2 year old daughter and a 6 month old daughter. I had to wait to go back to the gym until our youngest was 3 months, but once I could, I was doing the Crossfit workout of the day (modified to fit my abilities). Now, I do P90X...mostly at home. My husband went to Benning for 3 months, and during that time I lost about 10 pounds.
Other than that, I'm a stay at home mom (for now). I'm working on my accounting degree so I can get back to work. I'm a member of Domestic CEOs...which is a playgroup on Meetup.com so my oldest daughter Payton has some socialization with other kids.

My fitness level is not all that high, am really out of shape. have been walking a bit and doing some in home workouts of my own design, look silly but hey i am moving and it seems to be working. I need to start to take advantage of the free gyms on post but just havent gone there yet

Thanks for responding! I know what you mean and I feel the same! I have been struggling with my weight for quite some time now and I'm beyond ready to get into shape. Hello Everyone, I recently signed up to be a co leader of this group and would like to get things going. I believe that a key ingredient to a successful weight lose is having a strong support system. And being that we're all Military, we know exactly what support is all about. A little about me, my name is Stacy, I got out of the Army about a month ago.. my husband is still in and I'm enjoying this side of life. We have 2 children, a 15mths old and a 5yrs old.. I'm currently a full time student and looking for a new career path. I gained a lot of weight during and after my pregnancy and I'm definitely wanting to make some changes. My eating habits are horrible and I quickly lose motivation if I don't see results immediately. Anywho, I'm hoping that we can really help and support each other in this group.
