New to the Cafe. I am an accidental runner, started running when the cardio studio closed for a few weeks. I say I am from the Foresst Gump school of running, I started to run and then I run some more...
I have run 3 generations with my son and two grandsons, done a few 10 and halfs with my oldest grandson. Did a 5km with Gramie Leanna, her first 5 km and followed up immidiately with the 10km with my oldest grandson.
I became a Chi Runner and then a certified Chi Running and Chi Walking instructor.
Running was not part of a plan, just thought I would run around the parking lot for a few weeks and it got away.

Welcome to the Runner's Café! However, I am even newer than you here! Just signed up for this team the other day, and felt very welcome here. It's a great place to hang out and just relax after a good run. I used to run a lot, gained weight, and here I am starting all over again. The Couch to 5K program left me with a very sore foot and now I need to think of starting even more gradual than that. However, I am on my way, having polished off my goals and courage in the process. :)
