I haven't tried black beluga lentils, I have to try them. Thanks. I have to say i am feeling a little better.
If you are going to a trader joes, they also have black beluga lentils in a zip pouch, so they are ready to eat, a great addition to a salad or soup or anything. Toss in some beans to up your protein and keep the pouch in the fridge until its next use.
I also love the Raw Nuts snack packs between meals.

I do have a trader joe's near, thanks i will try all your suggestions. Shay
Is there a Trader Joe's near you? They have terrific soy (corn) dogs, chicken(less) nuggets, several kinds of veggie burgers, spicy (vege) nuggets, etc. Their food is terrific. My kids eat all of it, and one is no longer eating meat at all. They get a lot of protein from cheese, and enjoy tofu also. It can be added to so many dishes.
Thanks guys! I am cheking my calories to see if iam getting enough and i am also taking my vitamins. Thanks, Shay
You might want to look into taking B12 supplements. It's hard for vegetarians to get enough of that vitamin. Make sure you're getting enough protein, too.

Hi there, I am so happy you decided to join in.
I found it difficult at the beginning to figure out what to eat...It gets better though, this website is a great resource.
When I started, I was very ambitious and try to go vegan, that made me very weak too, so I decided to first get comfortable being vegetarian and it has been working very well for me.
Are you sure you are getting enough calories? Too low calorie diet is the fastest way to feel exhausted and tired.
If you are confused sometimes about what to eat, I really like the cookbook The Clueless Vegetarian ( www.amazon.com/Clueless-Vegetarian-E

Also, when in doubt, I just fix myself some veggie burger with side salad, it is pretty simple and satisfying, although most people want to steer away from too processed foods in the long run.
Best of luck!
