But if you're making them yourself, they're MUCH easier to track. I'm not vegan but I've made vegan friendly recipes in the past, like Egyptian rice and lentils, masoor dal, veggie biryani, red beans and rice, and veggie vindaloo. Yeah a lot of Indian dishes, but then again I love Indian food. :)

I'm new to SP and am a vegan. I became vegetarian a year ago for ethical and health reasons after years of low-carb living. I gained most of the weight I'd once lost, and when my cholesterol shot up to 263 I decided to go vegan and eliminate all animal products from my diet (no more eggs, dairy, or honey etc). So far so good, but it's hard finding decent restaurant meals up here! Thought I'd see who else is living this way.
