My name is Merel, I'm nearly 37 and live in Belgium. I'm not so new on sparkpeople anymore. So far I have gotten into good habits exept for one: exercice!
I've always hated exercice, I just couldn't motivate myself getting to go to the gym and stay consistent. Till I discovered yoga. I'm really new to yoga (only had a few lessons) but after my first class I knew this is it. When I stepped outside after my first class I've felt more relaxed then I've felt in years and in the meanwhile I felt very energetic as well. Even my friends noticed I started talking in a calmer sense, softer en slower.
I'm planning on going ahead with my yoga classes and hope to get a balanced body in return soon.
Oh btw I practice sampoori yoga from yogihari (http://www.yogihari.com/index.htm), anyone else familiar with this type of yoga?
