Hello all, my name is Julia.
I am fairly new to this spark page! I am currently doing T-3, Total Transformation workout... Is there anyone else doing this one? Just started it 3 days ago, for me it's a total butt kicker... Would like to know of others who are doing T-3 or who have done T-3. What were your results and I saw that there was a two month plan you can follow for T-3 but what about the rest? Have a blessed day all!

Hi all. Not that this seems the most active team, but I've been doing Billy's Bootcamp for a while now so I thought I'd join. It's definitely a workout that feels like one, and it's been working for me so far.

That's a great commitment. 5 days a week. I workout almost everyday. Sometimes I just go slow on the bike and read. I get antsy sitting at work all day, so sometimes, even if I have worked out in the morning, I need to do something after work to get rid of pent up energy. It's been helping me sleep. And I don't feel guilty if I read for an hour!

I saw your other thread and just assumed that you meant the Elite Bootcamp. That's what I get for assuming .. lol. I hear a lot of good things about ChaLean. I'm committed to doing Taebo at least 5 days a week. I was doing 6 days but I'm not as young (or spry) as I used to be. So I've decided to eat and exercise less. I think that works better for me.

Wow..I am glad you told me about the T3. I like his more advanced tapes. I don't have the bootcamp elite, but I have the Billy's Bootcamp tapes.

I am doing Chalean Extreme too right now, but am going to be adding extra cardio so we could work out a Tae Bo commitment. I started a goal of 3 times a week on here.

I have the amped and am going to alternate what I add to the ChaLean Extreme routine. I can't go without my Tae Bo! hahaha

I'm not very impressed with the T3. I did the whole series for the first time last month. It seems to be geared more towards newbies. Before every video, he spends 5-10 min. showing the moves. I just wanted to work out. Also the workouts just didn't seem as intense as the Amped or Basic Training Elite series. I don't think that I would have purchased T3 if I had known. I had Celebrity Fit Sculpt for a long time, and I really liked it. The DVD that I got for Christmas had the Celebrity Fit Cardio and Basic Training ABs. I haven't done them yet as I am in my last week of Amped. I was wondering if you wanted to Bootcamp Elite together starting next Monday?

Sounds like you have a good collection! You should definately be able to get a good routine down with all of those.

I love Tae Bo. I have so many of them too. I find I am motivated enough to work out at home, so I have decided not to renew my gym membership this year and invest in new dvds.

How is the T3 series and the Celebrity fit dvds? They are the next ones I am thinking of buying.

Thank You Angel Amber. I have the T3 series, the Amped series including Rockin' Ab & Buns & Sculpt Express, and Boot Camp Elite series. I have Billy's Bootcamp Basic Training and Celebrity Fit including Cardio, Sculpt and Ab Bootcamp. I also have 18 VHS tapes which includes both basic and advanced levels. I really love Taebo!!

Hi, I'm new to your team but not new to SP or Taebo. I've been consistently exercising with Taebo for 2 months. So far I've lost 7 pds which isn't as great as a few months ago when I lost 15 pds doing Taebo. I'm looking forward to getting to know you all.

Ugh - I have been sick this week. So I slept in today and am hitting the gym after work. I figured if I rest today I can go harder tomorrow. I am planning on doing a Tae bo workout in the AM.

Let's keep this team going. With Christmas coming and all that sweets, regular Tae bo workouts are a great thing to accomplish.

For instance, I do not feel as guilty indulging in a sweet treat IF I have done my tae bo for the day.

If I know it's going to be a high calorie meal in the evening, I commit to at least 55 minutes of tae bo that day. When you think about it, just about an hour a day is very do-able most days of the week.

How many of you prefer to do it first thing in the morning, or after work??

Hello. I 'm new to the group and would like to introduce myself briefly. I have several fitness videos of Billy Blanks/ Taebo :the original Vhs, the Bootcamp and abs or lower body ( I forget which 1). Anyway, when I first began using the tapes, approx 9yrs ago my body changed for the better. So, I decided to purchase more but I haven't used them yet. I feel by joining the group, I 'll be encouraged to be active by popping in the DVD, use the bands and mix it up a little in the morning before I start my day. emoticon

hi hi and i'm a bootcamp-a-holic, i used it last yr when beach/bikini season came along and it was the first tape that actually worked. Right now i'm dusting them off and wheneva i cant go to the gym i put on the ultimate or abs. It's amazing how those 2 girls in the front, with their hot bodies piss you off enough to get motivated to work harder lol...

I'm doing the ultimate but not the advanced portion still. I love it as well. I found out that the really ripped one on the right of the screen (Shelly) is his daughter...made me feel better since she must have been around it most of her life.

Have you tried the red bands yet with thd 1pound weights inside?

Goal: 119 by vacation 7/29/2012 . Actual: 123 but got bikini ready! Only 4 above goal. Returned from vacation with 2 extra pounds.

I just started the bootcamp DVD set the beginners one and the ultimate one. Boy I never though I'd sweat so much but it's exilerating! Using the bands really adds a lot of resitance and my arms burn! such a great feeling! looking forward to getting ripped like all the girls in the video! =)

That is what I am doing....er..um..trying to. I've only gotten 40 minutes out of 60 done though. It kicks my butt!

I log it as extreme aerobic activity in the fitness log. i don't know how else to do it.

Well, I feel like I've been run over by a semi, but it feels good!!! I've been doing the BootCamp DVDs. How have you been logging it in your fitness log? There is TaeBo, which you can add under cardio, but the Bootcamp is both cardio and different strength training exercises.

I wish I could get my fiance to do it with me! When I first got them a couple years ago he did 1. That was the last time! Now he likes to laugh at me punching and kicking the air in the living room... emoticon

Hi! I have some dusty Billy's Boot Camp DVDs that I'm going to start using tonight after work! I've done them before but, but as with most exercise programs I wasn't motivated to keep doing it. I've got a wedding coming up this spring and want to lose 20 pounds and tone up my arms by then. Glad you started this group! emoticon

First of all I would like to say "Hi" to any future members that may join. I started this group because I have jumped on the Billy Blanks bandwagon and haven't seen any other sparkteam dedicated to them. I, personally, am doing his boot camps and abs DVD's. I just can't believe how hard, but great, these DVD's are. I am hoping we can track our progress and see if he can deliver...or we can. emoticon
