SP with all its tools and features can seem overwhelming at first. The best way I found to start is by using SP's "Getting Started Guide" which you can find about halfway down your Start Page under Quick Links. It will introduce you to it's features and tools and take you step-by-step in setting up your personalized program and before you know it you will be up and running. It will also help you set up your own SparkPage - a place where people can connect with you and offer support. If you need any help, just ask.
