Welcome and well done with 23 mile ride after being off the bike for awhile. Enjoy the ride!
Welcome to the team. Seems like I start over every spring, but it doesn't really take that long to get your seat back. The most important thing is to just keep at it.
One Day at a Time:
1) 10,000 steps daily
2) fruit & vegie at every meal
3) aerobic or strength train every day
4) 7 hours sleep daily
5) check in with SP daily
June 2014 goals:
1) lose 4 pounds
2) finish walk way
3) finish blocks for Forest Service quilt
4) scan old photos
It's never too late to be what you might have been.
Thanks for all the welcomes!!
Welcome to our SparkTeam and congrats on your return to the world on two wheels!
I left it behind as a teen and didn't pick up cycling again until I was 50+...! Looking forward to hearing about your experiences!

Hello everyone I am new to both sparkpeople and cycling. I think the last time I rode a bike before the beginning of this month was when I was 15. However, I started off strong and I am still pushing through. I made it through a 23 mile bike ride yesterday and I am loving being back on a bike. I am looking forward to finally being able to go on a long ride with my boy friend one day. Hoping to learn some new information from this team.
