Welcome! You're making excellent progress. It's always fun to look back and old progress markers and see how far you've come. When I first started commuting by bike, I had to stop part-way through my 7.5-mile ride to work. Now I don't stop on my 10.5 mile ride home. (On longer rides, I usually stop once an hour to stretch my creaky old body.)
College towns tend to be very bike-friendly. I hope you have lots of places to ride.

I'm a college student who started off biking in order to navigate campus quicker. I realized that I needed exercise for ADD management and general health and started going on actual bike rides. I've gone from needing to rest after 5 miles in January to managing to bike about 18 miles last saturday (I needed to rest after that, though).
I'm planning to continue my bike rides all summer, in addition to some hiking, and am hoping that this community will help me stay motivated. I'm looking forward to it!
