I got a fuji newest road bike. We have a hilly paved trail that is 21 miles one way and I liked that it had two sets of brake levers and is a little more upright. So far I really like it. I figure if I get into the sport seriously and start hitting real roads I'll upgrade as a reward for losing weight etc. For now it's perfect for me though.

Hello everyone, I just wanted to introduce myself . I'm a 34 year old mother of 4 and I live in Oregon. I have a lot of weight to lose but never have found an activity or motivation that I liked for exercise until I discovered cycling. I had a slow clunky old bike that I would try to ride here and there but it was not comfortable. A friend wanted to go for a bike ride so I got my husband's bike out and it was a dream to ride. I realized how fun it was when you had a nicer bike. So after a week of riding his hybrid my husband bought me a road bike! I've ridden it 252 miles in the last three weeks, I love it! Altogether in this past month since I started I've ridden 312 miles. My goal is to get in 2012 miles before the year is up. I look forward to getting to know every one here!
