Where in SW Florida is your trail located?
Ours is in Sylacauga, AL and goes into the Talladega National Forest.

I am heading out tomorrow to my local MTB trails to do some lopping and trimming. As a member of the bike club that built and maintains these trails, I find that it is a great opportunity to be outdoors, meet people with similar interest, get some exercise and improve the riding conditions all at the same time. These trails are on county property, and we have built a good relationship with them also by volunteering a total of 2,426 hours in 2010!
If you ride on a trail system, consider getting involved in helping to promote and educate people about trail use, safety, and etiquette, as well as pitching in and getting your hands a little dirty. You just might find that you enjoy it as much as I do!
