Hi, I'm Amanda! I've just signed up for the Ride to Conquer Cancer, a 2-day, 200km bike ride from Toronto to Niagara Falls. The Ride isn't until next June but, aside from spin classes, I'm very new to cycling. I'm looking forward to learning a lot about the sport in the coming months.
My current focus is on fundraising (each rider needs a minimum of $2500 in pledges!), but I'm planning to kick the training up a notch or two in the new year. I can't wait until I have something to contribute to this group; in the meantime, any insight or training tips would be greatly appreciated!
