Good to see I'm not the only one who likes to go out in the cold, ha!! Clothes make all the difference, soooooo true.
What Marnie says.
It was 30F at the start of my cyclocross race yesterday. Good clothes made it all fine and dandy.
In God we trust, all others bring data.

If God invented marathons to keep people from doing anything more stupid, the triathlon must have taken Him completely by surprise.
Specificity, specificity, specificity.
The plural of "anecdote" is not "data".

Wear good winter clothing and you can ride year 'round. I road ride if the roads are not icy, and I LOVE to go mtn biking on the trails in the snow, we have so much fun.

I moved here to SC from Wyoming so they're all warm days, lol. I ride unless it's icy - but maybe you're downstate and won't have that problem.
I also don't eat any of the biscuits....now, Krispy Kremes? I have to look the other way back from the gym so I don't see the Hot Doughnut sign is on!
Seriously, there are lots of good trails and well-ridden roads all over the state. Enjoy!

Welcome! I will eeek out any time I can out on the bike trails, even bought myself plenty of cold weather gear so I could go out....and busted my butt in the snow once...though it was a blast!!
Moved to SC a few years ago. Need to burn off some South Carolina biscuits. Love to road bike (bicycle) but cold weather forces other activities. I hope for an occasional warm day here in SC to get out riding.
