I live in Capitola, CA. Central California coast. I rode with The Leukemia Society TNT local cycling team for 5 years or so but that was a while back. In the meantime I got very lazy and gained 60 pounds. I've gotten 25 of those back, as of today, but still have 50 to go to reach goal. Would like to get back into "training", riding regularly and slowly increasing mileage and climbing to get back to the point where I might attempt a century. The high point of my athletic life was probably the year I did 12 centuries. Now every little bump seems like a mountain but it gets easier each time out. Right now I'm at 30-40 miles max without too many steep climbs. If anyone in my area has similar goals and is in similar condition please hit me back and lets get out there together. I don't enjoy riding alone.
