I'm a newbie from Central Ohio as well! I've decided to jump right in and commit to doing the Pelatonia century the end of August. I've already learned a lot just reading the posts on here. If anyone has suggestions for training or groups to get involved with for rides, I'd love to hear them. I'm really independent once I know what to do, but right now I'm feeling like there is so much I don't know, so I just get on the bike and pedal every day, even if it is in the gym for now. Look forward to reading many more posts from all of you!

I've been on Spark for just over a year and am very active with many other teams. I decided last year that I wanted a bike again. I hadn't biked since I got my drivers license many moons ago. I spent some time researching and talking with friends at work who are avid riders. I decided on a Trek Pilot 2.1 and that's when I fell in LOVE with riding again. Now there's only 2 seasons; riding season and the rest of the year.
