Yes its a 2 day ride. When I first started riding I contacted the MS society and they got me in contact with some riders in my area. You may want to try that. I still ride with these people and that first MS150 was 4 years ago.
Good Luck to you! I am riding the MS150 in Southwest Florida! It is a wonderful ride and an amazing experience- I would recommend it to anyone. I wouldn't be too worried about not knowing anyone- everyone is very friendly and you will find yourself joining many groups!
That would be a bit of a stretch for us to make from Alabama. Enjoy your ride and don't worry, you will find someone to ride with. That is part of the fun of the organized rides, all the great people you meet along the way.
One Day at a Time: 1) walk/ride 30 minutes 2) organize something in my home 3) fruit or veggie with each meal 4) sew 1 bobbin full 5) do a good deed daily
April goals/resolutions 1) fresh ground cover on all flower beds 2) eat a fresh fruit and vegetable daily 3) finish cutting my basket of scraps into usable strips
Happy spring! I'm aiming to turn up my cycling activity by committing to a charity ride, specifically the MS Cape Cod ride (in Massachusetts). Its been a long time since I've done anything like this, it will be the first organized ride I've done since I was 17 (When Price's Purple Rain came out).
I'd like to meet with some fellow sparksters as I won't have a buddy to ride with.
