Welcome to the team! We are getting lots of new members from CA these days. Having a goal really helps motivate you to work harder. Good luck with your AIDS ride.

Welcome to the team. Everyday is a great day in CA to start riding. If you were in MI or CT I could see why it would be a bad day. ;) I really hope that you enjoy this team. In some way we are all newbies so please post and participate.

My boyfriend trained with a trailer, he would put bricks and rocks in it and climb hills. He's a machine on a bike. Welcome to our team!

That's a great training plan--train with a trailer, and then do the ride without it. It'll make the ride a piece of cake!

Welcome to the team.

Hi, everyone! New to the group, so just saying hello. I'm a new mom in northern California. I used to be an avid road cyclist, and I'm getting back into it (bad time of year), but still working on getting a bike trailer, which will make it MUCH easier! I'm training for AIDS LifeCycle 2009, though I have a long way to go. I'm looking forward to getting some motivation and tips from the team.
