I was just in Savannah earlier this year and I am jealous--I didn't have my bike there, but can see why you enjoy your environment! Welcome to the team.
Arizona is the same way and I agree DavisJH, summers can be interesting at times.

Welcome! Like you, I enjoy the opportunity/ability of riding year-round in a Southern climate (although July & August can be beastly in AL).
2009 Cycling Goal: 2,750 miles (3,500 miles 8/15)
Year to 10/2: 3,255 miles
2008 2,500 mi/2,419.1 logged (80.9 miles short)
2007 (1/2 Year): 1,000 mi/ 1,002 logged!!
I found Sparks a few months ago, but just found this team. I am fortunate to live in Savannah, known as the low country for good reason. Lack of hilly terrain and year-round riding weather make this a great place to ride. On top of those advantages, I live in an island community with 40 miles of very scenic biking/walking trails, and I belong to a bicycle touring club that has wonderful rural rides every Saturday. I look forward to getting riding tips and inspiration to ride more often by being a member of this team.
