Here come the warm. Yesterday I rode with my a.m. commuter group at 6 a.m. It was 45 degrees and balmy and it was light by 7 a.m. I'm not really looking forward to the time change. Going out today to do errands and another 20 miles or so.
Great reason to celebrate Jim! Good luck to your wife. My mom had breast cancer twice, two different kinds 30 years apart, she's beat it both times. She is 86 this year and old enough to have all kinds of other problems but still going strong.
An update on my wife she will have her last radiation treatment for breast cancer on Tuesday Feb. 24. On Friday Feb. 27th she is celebrating and have invited people who have helped us out for a drink on us.
well I didn't meet my fitness 'weight' goal in 2008 so I am starting fresh for '09! I am adding more strength training this year and trying to do some form of exercise for 15 minutes every morning before work!
So glad you're working to get back into shape after your breast cancer set back. My mother has been at my home for about a month and just recently finished her last chemo treatment. She is so sick of reading books, watching movies, and knitting, and is just itching to be active again.
Also I'm very jealous that you have a bike trail behind your house. Enjoy!

hello! I am new to this web site and have found a lot of useful information. I got into bike riding about 6 years ago and I really enjoy it! There is a new bike trail behind my house and I plan to use it as much as possible this year. I am trying to get back into shape after a set back with breast cancer last year. Hope to get to know some of you out there soon!
