TABALF Good for you, getting out riding with your husband! Both my husband and I ride but I ride more than my husband. I speak to many husbands, out on group ride, who wish their wives would ride with them. I think we wives can get intimidated and embossed buy how mush slower we ride than our husbands.
BTW: you can be a better cycling partner without losing weight! Last year I hired a cycling coach who taught me techniques to become a faster, stronger rider. Now, since I have also lost weight, I am getting a little faster. I know that everyone can’t afford a cycling coach but, if there is university nearby where you live they may have a cycling coach or talk to the leaders of the local cycling clubs for recommendations for people who can coach you.
