Hi Robin - Welcome to the team. I too am from the states, but you've got me wondering how my UK counterparts are doing with their cycling. My boyfriend (London origins) and I need to visit soon as his sister just acquired a tea room. It's undergoing renovations now, but I'm looking forward to the grand opening.
All the best with the Evesham Wheelers,
Welcome from the states!!! When I was racing mountain bike, a gentleman by the name of Mike Etough was my number one competitor. His son, Chris was my son's number one competitor. Mike moved here from the U K a few years back to work at Harley Davidson in the frame shop. Mike was #1 in the world in down hill and was #3 in cross country.

Welcome to the team. I am from the States but my sister and I took a trip to London a couple of years ago and traveled through the Cotswolds and surrounding areas. What a beautiful place to live.
Just found this team and it looks about right for me - I joined SP on New Years Day and am thoroughly enjoying it so far. About 3 months ago I decided to join the local cycling club - the Evesham Wheelers www.eveshamwheelers.org.uk/ starting with the club runs every Sunday - 40-50 miles in the undulating countryside around Evesham. I have also been out several times with the 'Antiques Roadshow' a group of senior cyclists who ride a t a (slightly) gentler pace on Wednesday mornings. Last night was the first proper training session, riding laps of a local trading estate - great fun to be riding with some of the youngsters, and keeping up (mostly). Totally knackered when I got home though! The good thing about cycling is that it does winders for your cardio minutes on SP, and also seems to be helping with my weight loss. I would be pleased to contact any cyclists - particularly in the UK, as I think the 'team' part of SP is very effective in helping each other.
Pain is just weakness leaving the body... but sometimes it can't get out!
Please note, I am NOT anorexic! Current and target weights below in Kilograms, not pounds!
