Hello all! My name is Leah. I graduated college about a year and a half ago but am not currently working in the field that I studied in college. My husband has another semester left of college. Between the two of us we have A LOT of student loans that we want to start paying off agressively. We live very simply, we only have one car. I have been a heavy coupon user for about a year now.
I lost a little over 20 pounds here on SP since the new year. I did it mostly by working out at home with workout dvds I got from the library and eating less and some different things. I've learned so much especially about nutrition from SP and books that I've read.
I would love to connect with others we share my beliefs on living simply and getting out of debt. That's why I joined :)

Hi I am Boni, I am not new to SP, but new to the team. At 62 years old I know it is very important that I get this 100 pounds off I have to lose, to keep my diabetes in check, and to exercise. I love to chat and getting and giving encouragment to all the team is a great thing.
I live on a farm and we have cattle, dogs, cats, chickens, a horse and any other critter that strays in we take care of. Oh we have doves also and two canadian geese have joined us for spring on our pond. I would guess they may be setting. I live in central KY and have all my life. I work full time on midnights and for the past 18 years have been a police dispatcher. It has been very rewarding as my husband has disabilities which keep us in a situation where we have to be very Frugal with our spending. I have to get back to work but hope all of you have a blessed Wednesday.
If the Lord brings you to it He will take you through it.... Boni in KY. Eastern Time Zone

Hi, my name is Joanne. I have a severely autistic daughter, and because of the care involved with my DD I only have a small amount of work, so we rely on my husband's income. I need to lose weight to stay healthy and take care of my responsibilities, but like most people I am finding it more difficult to stay within budget when it comes to paying bills. One of my best moves, though was joining sparkpeople. I was at weight watchers and admittedly, it is a good plan, but an expensive one. I look forward to participating in this team.

Hi Everyone! I am not exactly new to the team but it has just taken me a while to figure out how the whole team thing works. I'm really enjoying my SparkTeams, finally, and love "chatting" with so many people. I have been a Sparker for several years but I am finally taking the time to really enjoy it and reap the benefits. I have been married for 17 years and have two children (girl 13, boy 7.) I work part-time. Right now, I am tackling this lifestyle change as exactly that. I am hoping to lose a total of 30-40 pounds. Recently, I joined a team challenge to lose 10 pounds by May 31st. I am loving the challenge!! This is the first time I have joined a team challenge and I am really enjoying it! Taking one day at a time. The first 10 pounds will be huge for me...I really need to prove to myself that I can do this! Happy Monday to All!
