That is such a moving story. I think you know how important it is for you to keep up what you have started.

I knew Spark had some new trackers, but I probably haven't been paying attention. Yours is one of the new ones. I just might try it. It might give me the extra motivation I need.

My name is Melissa and I am new to SparkPeople....Been doing it faithfully for a week now, but did not get on the computer till now! was recently blessed to meet Chris Powell from Extreme Makeover Weight Loss Edition. It was a meeting that was unexpected and he gave his time to me, sought me out, it was a God thing! He asked me one question that turned my heart around, finally. He asked me "Who are you, Melissa?" I replied, "I am mom, a fat, lazy mom"..with tears...He grabbed my shoulders and responded "Do you know what I see? You are a beautiful dancer, with A LOT of energy to burn up!"....I cried even harder! He talked with me for quite a while and two things he said (besides the above), have been written on my heart. One, he said, "You can do ANYTHING for 10 minutes, so I want you to exercise 6 days a week for 10 minutes, because YOU CAN DO IT!" 2nd, he said something that I still laugh at "Melissa, you are NOT FAT ENOUGH to be on EMWLE, if you wanted to be on the show, then you would have to gain weight, and I WILL NOT let you gain weight!" that was the FIRST time I have EVER been told I was not fat ENOUGH! Would love to make some new friends/support help here on SP!
