Hi Brandy, I am new to this team and spark people also. I am loving it so far, it helps keep me motivated. I also have four children. I homeschool them so life is very crazy and I am seeing that I have to make some time for me, they need me to be the best mom I can be and I can't do that if I never give myself a break or the time I need to get healthy. I know what you mean about not having a lot of support at home, I think my family and friends are well meaning but tend to sabatoge my diet efforts rather then help.. I'd love to add you as a friend if you'd like we can support one another! Good luck, you can do it!
Welcome, seems like you have your mind made up to be healthier. With four children it is a good thing to be healthy because they are going to need you for many more years to come!!!
Try a small changes like...... Drink lots of water, it might take a few days to build to it but 8 - 8ozs of water is the goal to aim for. No soda and watch the intake of the "white's" meaning flour, sugar etc. do that for a week or two and see if that small start will give you a boost to start changing other things and then you can add in 10-15mins of movement, just throw on some music and dance around the kids will have a laugh at you and depending on their ages, might think you are ready for the funny farm, but it is all good!!

Watching salt intake also trying not to buy foods that have high fructose corn syrup, sugar, rice syrup, corn syrup, fructose, sucrose etc. in the first three ingredients.
No foods that have more than 3 ingredients that I can not pronounce.
If an item has more than 10 ingredients I put it on the Do Not Buy List as it is too processed.
Hi Brandy and welcome! Dont' be so hard on yourself! We are here for you. I usually suggest the first thing, the nutrition tracker! I use it as a meal planner instead of tracking food after it's eaten. You will do just fine. Just ask for help anytime. We are in this together! Hugs
