I have finally gotten accustomed to the lifestyle/good habits/exercise (with muscle gain) and the weight is melting away.
Diligence really pays off--even if it's a little exercise each day, a little less food each month, sticking with it really pays off big. (I started with 3 huge helpings of everything). Each day I take a step in the right direction keeps me from getting sick, and makes me more able to cope and downright get around better! Focus on the things you want to do and how much you want to be able to do those things again (like play with the kids as they grow up or even just keep them safe as they get longer legs).
I have read here on the sparkpeople website that it only takes 21 days practice for change to become a new habit, so take heart!

Hi, I am a mom of 5 and tired of the constant battle with my weight. I am ready to change my life for good and want to make healthier choices for both myself and my children.
