emoticon I'm Sandy and I live in New Mexico. I am all about frugal! Especially in this economy. We are down to a one income household. I haven't bought anything new in a year and would like to keep it that way. Only replacing something when it breaks and not because I always feel I need a backup. Hello Everyone. My name is Beth and I've benn with SP off and on since 2006. This is my first time to sign up for a team concerning finances. My husband and I are both on social security disability which means a fixed income. I want to be able to share some of my "woe is me" days as well as my accomplishments both weight and finance wise. We currently have our son, daughter-in-law and grandson living with us which has really stretched our finances. I hoping to get some really good ideas from this team on spending and especially saving.

Hi, new to this group, but have been with spark for a while. I'm a confirmed pack-rat and live in a house with only one closet. I have a basement and attic, but am trying to keep them clean as well. I'm looking to get my house and life in order and am using all the inexpensive/free tools I can find to do it. I'm loving Spark, Loving my public library, and I also use the flylady.net site which helps with decluttering and simplifying.

Don't wait for January first or even next Monday to start anew. Do it now!

Hi. I joined on September 28th and am just getting around to introducing myself to my groups.

I joined frugalists because I don't just want to lose weight, but I want to become debt-free and live a simpler life-style.

Right now, I live in Korea in a studio and that is teaching me to purge and keep just what I need. My problem is I like to shop. Just like eating, shopping can turn into an emotional binge.

I'm making small steps every day, but I think this group will amp up my efforts.
