Hi my name is Sarah. Some of my top 3 interests are family, fitness and finances. My life is not ordinary so may not look simple to some- but we follow our budget and I save where I can so we can spend based on our values. Nice to meet you all and excited to read your posts!
The master in the art of living makes little distinction between his work and his play, his labor and his leisure, his mind and his body, his information and his recreation, his love and his religion. He hardly knows which is which. He simply pursues his vision of excellence at whatever he does, leaving others to decide whether he is working or
I'm Sandy and I live in New Mexico. I am all about frugal! Especially in this economy. We are down to a one income household. I haven't bought anything new in a year and would like to keep it that way. Only replacing something when it breaks and not because I always feel I need a backup. It is nice to be here and happy frugaling

I can be brave when learning or trying something new
I shall be bold by pushing myself to the next level
I can be fierce by being determined in setting my goals and reaching them
I shall give a full 100% of me and feel FABULOUS about the woman I am
Hi, my name is Pam. I've recently quit my job and am going to join my husband in semi-retirement. I've been giving a lot of thought to ways to economize and simplify without giving up the fun stuff.
I ran across this team while looking at a friend of a friends Sparkpage. Looks like just what I need.

While you are coming up with reasons you can't workout - someone fit is coming up with ways that they can. It all starts in your head.

My name is Kristen. I joined SparkPeople back in the beginning of August and have slowly been trying to get myself into a healthier lifestyle. I also am trying to beak away from the commercialism that is raging at the moment and learn to live a simpler and happier life!
I joined Spark People back in December and joined this team recently.
I hope to visit often.I do work a lot but I really want to better myself by living simple and being frugal.
Focus on moving forward.
Hello Everyone. My name is Beth and I've benn with SP off and on since 2006. This is my first time to sign up for a team concerning finances. My husband and I are both on social security disability which means a fixed income. I want to be able to share some of my "woe is me" days as well as my accomplishments both weight and finance wise. We currently have our son, daughter-in-law and grandson living with us which has really stretched our finances. I hoping to get some really good ideas from this team on spending and especially saving.
Success to All,
One day at a time, sweet Jesus.

Courage does not always roar. Sometimes it is a quiet voice at the end of the day, saying,"I will try again tomorrow."
I'm Sabrina and I'm looking forward to simple living. I'm on my way now but am always looking for new ideas.
I can't wait to meet you all!!

I just found this team forum! I'm working on frugal and simple living...it's hard sometimes, with so much going on around me, but I do okay, I guess, most of the time. I'm hoping to pick up some hints so I don't go overboard in the other direction.
Hello everyone! My name is Tanya. I am new to the team and looking forward to making changes in my way of living for the better. I look forward to meeting every one and also being a active part on the team!! :)

Hello everyone! I'm Stef! I enjoy living simply, not so frugal all the time, but within my means and not "flashy". I look forward to sparking with you all. :-)
A big to Linda, Cheryl, and Kurt for the welcome message and "Best Wishes" SparkGoodie. I'm always looking for new ways to enhance my healthy living journey. This team sounds like it may provide the means of sharing ideas about frugal, simple living while still allowing me to maintain the levels of personal health, nutritional, and overall general lifestyle standards I have set for myself.
I joined this team because I often think it's too expensive to eat healthfully. I'd love some tips for making healthy meals from what's already in my over-stocked cupboards!
Hello. I am new here. I joined this team because I am a stay at home mom of 4 kids and I am always looking for ways to save money. I am hoping to get some good ideas about being frugal and staying healthy at the same time.
My goal is to maintain a healthy lifestyle that includes adhering to a nutritious diet, staying physically active, maintaining a positive attitude, and living a life that allows me to stay focused on my priorities, recognize the differences between 'wants' and 'needs', and appreciate the simple joys awaiting me with every moment of every day. Striving to live a 'simple life' has given new meaning and purpose to my healthy journey.
Hi, new to this group, but have been with spark for a while. I'm a confirmed pack-rat and live in a house with only one closet. I have a basement and attic, but am trying to keep them clean as well. I'm looking to get my house and life in order and am using all the inexpensive/free tools I can find to do it. I'm loving Spark, Loving my public library, and I also use the flylady.net site which helps with decluttering and simplifying.
Don't wait for January first or even next Monday to start anew. Do it now!
Sexy comes in all shapes and sizes!
Hi. I joined on September 28th and am just getting around to introducing myself to my groups.
I joined frugalists because I don't just want to lose weight, but I want to become debt-free and live a simpler life-style.
Right now, I live in Korea in a studio and that is teaching me to purge and keep just what I need. My problem is I like to shop. Just like eating, shopping can turn into an emotional binge.
I'm making small steps every day, but I think this group will amp up my efforts.
Happy Monday! Just signing up for a few new teams. Have a GREAT week. :)
