I applaud you for starting now to create a lifestyle that will help you look and feel wonderful for the rest of your life. In some ways it's easier when you're young, and in other ways it's harder, since you still think you'll live forever. The most important thing is to remember to move slowly, and not burn out. A friend once said, "Don't do anything to lose weight that you aren't willing to do for the rest of your life." A bit of an exaggeration, but I think the basic idea is an important one.
