Hi Jaynee. What a fantastic story about all your cats. We use to have 4 kitties but sadly, one by one the all reached a very old age and they crossed over rainbow bridge. I have a 12+ that I rescued about 11 years ago - PolyDactly. I had also rescued an 8 year old who I just lost this past January - Ms Molly. In March, I rescued a 13 year old who would prefer to be the only and that's Daisy. Their pictures are all on my spark page.
on your weight loss. That's a great accomplishment.

My name is Jaynee and I am owned by 4 cats.
Baby is a long-haired ragdoll tuxedo. She only weighs 6-1/2#, but she runs the household. She is 5 years old. Baby barely tolerates other cats, though she has had eyes for Panda since she first saw him. We always knew he was around because she would cry and paw at the window when he was out there.
Panda is formerly feral. He is a shorthair tuxedo who LOOKS the same size as Baby, but is 9-1/2#.. Panda lived outside for 8 years that we know of. I tried to get him in the house for years, but he wouldn't even make eye contact. I was unable to get within 10 feet of him. He got very ill about 2 years ago and I expected him to die. He was down to skin and bones. He was so weak that he would come up on the porch when I fed him rather than wait until I went back in the house. I was able to (briefly) touch him while he ate. I went to the vet and got a topical wormer/flea medication and was able to apply that. A couple of days later, he would come over and demand that I pet him. One day there was a meow at the door and I thought it was dh's in/out cat (mine all stayed in the house). I opened the door and Panda walked in and walked over to the litter box and used it. He stayed in the house all night, then went out in the morning. That next night he came in jumped in bed with Rich and I and has been in ever since. He is the best house cat I have ever had. He is totally and completely devoted to me and waits at the door for me to come home every day. He has to be in constant contact and crawls under my head to be used as a pillow at night.
John Wayne is a massive (in length) black domestic weighing in at a skinny 15#. He is elderly and we almost lost him last spring. I had him in intensive care over night for antibiotics, then nursed him around the clock for almost a month pulling him through feline infectious anemia. I am still working on getting his weight back up to 18-20# by supplementing his diet with Ener-cal gel.
Puffy is a skittish feral that has hung around here since he was born about 5 or 6 years ago, He is a long haired blonde. If we can get him in the house and pick him up, he melts in your arms. But that is a big "IF".
They have a canine brother who is a Brittany Spaniel and they have had to educate him. Sadly, he is a slow learner. They also have a yellow lab/Rhodesian Ridgeback sister, but they love her. She is gentle and loving.
I started my journey to health on July 27, 2012 and reached my goal on July 23rd this year. I lost a total 130+ pounds.
I am looking forward to meeting and getting to know you all!
