Thankies. There's only one studio where I live and they run leisure classes at the local uni...so I'm really excited :)

Not for videos per se, but I would make sure that your teacher stresses the importance of good posture, hips tucked, knees soft. A hip scarf is good... comfy clothes that are a little snug, you know, like running pants, not sweats. Also, if you don't get it, ask to have her repeat. A good teacher will always repeat until her student understands the move. Good luck, have lots of fun... this is the best dance out there!!!

Hi all! I've been a nut about belly dancing for a few years and will finally (hopefully this Saturday) be taking a 4 week intro class at a local gym! I'm excited to be a part of this team and any suggestions for videos or whatnot would be very welcome.
