Welcome to Spark! Good luck with your goals. Luckily diabetes is treatable with dietary changes.
A man who wants something will find a way; a man who doesn't will find an excuse.

My name is Letrice. I am a 34 year old single mother that really needs to lose at least a 130lbs. I was diagnosed with type two diabetes in July of 2010. I started working toward the goal of eating healthy and exercising until my mother got sick. After I lost my mother in November of 2010 I just stopped caring. I stopped taking my medication, keeping track of my blood sugar, or going to doctor's visits. I had a wake up call about two months ago when I started working in the Nursing home that I now work at. I don't won't to lose my feet and legs and my daughter needs me. I just need to find the right motivation and make time to achieve my goal. I know I can do it.
Live and love!!
