New spark person, starting today. I recently read the Spark book and took notes and started contemplating my goals.
I'm still making my way through all of the "cornerstones" and goals I need to create for myself but I decided to join the spark people site so that I can start logging and find some recipes and advice.
I have 50 lbs to lose, I have 2 demanding teenagers, a full time job and I have tried every diet on the planet. If there were diets on other planets, I'm sure I'd have tried them, too! I am hoping that Spark will be the key.
My mom read the book and told me recently that when I'm ready.....really ready...that I needed to read the book and set my mind to doing this. I've read the book twice. I may read it again....and maybe again. Something has to stick and something has to work.
Here goes my first lesson...saying aloud what I wish to achieve and what I desire.
I will lose 50 lbs and be fit and healthy by July 23, 2013. I am starting with the short-term goal of 5lbs in 4 weeks. I have starting walking every day. I am currently on day three and started logging food today.
