I recently passed the half century mark and am determined to do something about my weight. I was recently diagnosed (after years of asking to be tested) with thyroid problems and an iron deficiency. For a long time, I knew something was wrong because I'd watch what I ate and still gained weight. Now, weight loss is even harder, but I'm determined to get back into shape. I may not end up being as small as I was when I was 20, but that's ok. I just want to be healthier.
I'd really love to make some REAL friends on this board. I really have no one in my life right now as my most of my friends are now married and don't want to do anything with me. One even said that she didn't want me around her husband. I don't understand that at all, I don't want him!
I don't want to bore people with a long intro so I'll just say hi for now. If anyone would like to chat, send me a message!
