Hi So Determined!
My first goal was to lose 20 pounds. Not too many weeks in, I discovered that along with tracking my calories, I was also tracking my nutrition. Right here, on "MyNutrition", if you scroll to the bottom you will see all the vitamins & minerals you should be getting each day.
Really the nutrition is the top priority. What's the point of being thin, if your not healthy.
While fruits & veggies are great, there are other things you should be eating too. It's important to have a variety of foods. You don't feel like you are being deprived when there is a nice variety. Check out some of Chef Megs recipes here on SP. Yummy, healthy and low cal.
I always workout by myself and it would be nice to have a buddy. However, I'm in the West Schaumburg area.
You can never have too much motivation, so I'd be proud to add you as a friend.
I look forward to hearing how you are doing on your journey. I am only halfway myself. Unfortunatly, I have had a recent injury that is really preventing me from getting as much exercise as I should. I am afraid this might cause me to lose ground. So I can certainly use all the support I can get on my journey too.
