Although I joined SP in May I really didn't participate until last week. I am 50+lbs over my lowest weight after losing 150+ lbs on WW. I am not sure how I ended up back in this situation, but I know I am determined to see my healthy weight again. So, who starts a new weightloss program the week before Thanksgiving - me! So far I have found this site to be informational & highly motivational. I am determined NOT to gain my usual 10lbs between now and Jan 1. While family and friends use this time of year as an excuse to overindulgence, I am using it as an excuse to try new recipes and make time for me. Yes, my family says I always do things the hard way - after all, wouldn't it be much easier to start this next year when everyone is doing it. But, I enjoy the extra challenge & having a head start on meeting my goals. Plus, I'll know if resolve to live healthynfornthe long haul can make it through these next 6 weeks I can make these changes permanently.
