I'm new to this Team. I'm from East Tennessee (10 minutes from the Smoky Mtns National Park) and I'm a Nature Photographer. Taking my camera on hikes keeps me motivated, have helped me to lose some weight and get back into shape! One day I hope to be in good enough shape to do the longer, harder, higher elevation hikes for the stunning views.

Hey y'all! I'm Amanda, I am a portrait photographer in Northern California (in the mountains, where it snows...no where near a beach, and by Northern I mean, the real Northern, almost Oregon). I am a mother to 3 crazy kids, 5, 3, and 2 years old, they keep me going for sure. I've had an internal debate with myself for the past few months about getting back on track to find the me that got lost dealing with life, marriage, kids. Some recent health issues gave me the kick I needed, and am back. I don't want to lose it, I want to change my life.
Hopefully with a support group it will be much easier.

Hey everyone! I'm Tamara. I'm an art and portrait photographer. Originally I'm from Philadelphia, but moved to IL for a few years before moving to England. I will be back in IL for a bit at the end of this year and then back to England for good. I am new to the team! I am from Indiana. I love taking pictures I had always have a camera in my hands since I was about 9 years old. I finally got a real good camera last year for Christmas. I take pictures of everything.

It sounds so beautiful! I'm ready for a road trip. LOL Yesterday we took a drive through a mountain area by our house - fun but we didn't do much photography. The few pics I took weren't really all that incredible but it still beat doing housework.

Gosh I looked Dawson Creek and Ft. St. John up and that looks like an area I'd like to see. Who knows if I ever get my passport DH and I will take the Alaska Hwy and see your part of the world.

I am from Wisconsin originally but now live full time in New Mexico. Today I was at White Sands National Monument but with just my little ematic thing which is a camera and music player etc. I couldn't get much. When I was in photo class and using my Nikkormat 35mm I got some awesome pictures there. Usually I use my little digital now but I need batteries.

Hi All,
I live in Canada. Wee town. With bears, deers and Moose roam. God's country one can say. Three traffic lights if I am lucky. Ha.ha. It is true.

Love this hobby. Glad I found it on Sparks. So far as I look. I feel so comfortable here. Photography is sure a passion for all of us. I have six Grandchildren and you never put your camera down with them. Not always they have to pose or big cheese smiles. The best ones at times is just them being them. Then there are fun times. When I make them pose. Like my one Grandson putting on his hockey clothes. Then he says. Grandma. I then say. Put your head down bud. I won't show the world. Then other times. His expression and smile. Say it all. I do so many other photos as well.Like all of you. On all places, things, animals, stills. One just keeps going. When your a person who lives for her camera or his I do not leave home without my camera. You just dont know when that moment comes. I have thousands of pictures. A closet full and c.d.s. So now. I can share with you. As you all share with me.

A picture I thought was just a scenery ended up as a picture of love to someone else. I won first price with a simple fall picture along my way to a doctors appointment. I took a minute and pointed the camera shot it. I entered it for fun.Weeks later. It won first place.

What you see in your own photo. Someone might want it put in a coffee book or on a wall. I know I can love all yours. I can't wait to look. You have my full attention here. I love to comment also. Not negative but positive feed back. We Sparks are natural that way for each other. We care. We are interested in each other. Am I right.

Our eyes are shutters like the camera's. They never seem to close. They keep clicking up and down.
