Roll call! I'm still here... or here, again, more accurately. I lost 40 pounds when I joined the last time, gained some back with pregnancy and being lazy, and have now lost aaaalmost 20 since august of this year. I'm feeling great! 10 pounds shy of my lightest weight and no intention of stopping. So it looks like there are about 4 of us here who have checked in. Go Team! ~Amy
Yep - somehow middle school health class skimmed over the whole menopause thing! My weight is staying down (sort of), but it requires more effort and the distribution is changing. I have also developed quite the sweet tooth.
The only restrictions any of us have in life are those we place on ourselves.
We just refinanced our house, that was a trip. But now we have $300 or so more dollars each month to spend. I'm doing a personally modified :-) Spark Solution diet and we'll see how that goes; it's just a two week thing. I wasn't going to buy the book but did; it was what I thought it would be but there's an idea or two in there I can use. I wrote down all their calorie counts for the 14 days and did the range between the lowest and highest for the two weeks in my tracker and am working with that. Mostly I need the exercise and thinking about it did get me working harder on my research so I found some good sites for seniors. It's a different body when one gets older/after menopause; who knew :-)
