It is about developing a plan to lose the weight slowly and learn new ways of eating and living so you can maintain the weight loss. Hello to everyone. I am 36yo mom of a beautiful 3yo DD. I am married to my wonderful DH who also has an 8yo DS who we have visitation with. I have been slowly gaining weight over the last 15 years. After our wedding I was pregnant three times in just over one year having two miscarriages. I was depressed and drowned my pain with food. The third pregnancy was for my DD which I then gained more weight. A year after her birth, at my annual physical, I weighed the same as I did at my 6 week postpartum check. How horrible. She is now 3 and I still have my "pregnancy/baby weight". I have since joined Weight Watchers, losing 11 lbs, and have joined a gym three months ago. I have been doing good but am one of those people who likes instant results and gets easily disappointed. Good luck with that one. LOL. I heard of this site from my MIL and so far I LOVE IT. There is alot to learn and take in, that is for sure. I am hoping that this will supplement in support for me along with the WW and gym. I hope to meet a lot of wonderful, supportive and understanding people on this journey. Can't wait to meet and get to know you.
