Welcome to Spark and to our team. We are all here to help. It sounds like you are working hard already. However, weight loss isn't about instant success. It is about developing a plan to lose the weight slowly and learn new ways of eating and living so you can maintain the weight loss. So please be patient with yourself and the weight will come off slowly which is best.

Hello to everyone. I am 36yo mom of a beautiful 3yo DD. I am married to my wonderful DH who also has an 8yo DS who we have visitation with. I have been slowly gaining weight over the last 15 years. After our wedding I was pregnant three times in just over one year having two miscarriages. I was depressed and drowned my pain with food. The third pregnancy was for my DD which I then gained more weight. A year after her birth, at my annual physical, I weighed the same as I did at my 6 week postpartum check. How horrible. She is now 3 and I still have my "pregnancy/baby weight". I have since joined Weight Watchers, losing 11 lbs, and have joined a gym three months ago. I have been doing good but am one of those people who likes instant results and gets easily disappointed. Good luck with that one. LOL. I heard of this site from my MIL and so far I LOVE IT. There is alot to learn and take in, that is for sure. I am hoping that this will supplement in support for me along with the WW and gym. I hope to meet a lot of wonderful, supportive and understanding people on this journey. Can't wait to meet and get to know you.
