Hello! I've been lurking around reading articles, but haven't really participated in any of the team work. WHICH is probably why the scale hasn't budged. So, yeah..



I was doing great on WW about 4 years ago. Lost a lot of weight, kept it off. But I didn't get to goal and just stayed this way.

THIS IS THE YEAR FOR CHANGE!!!!

Hi I'm Janie...I'm new to this Team and happy to be here. When I first joined SP I was skeptical and nothing else ever worked. The older I get the more the pounds creep up on me. I'm not comfortable at all with my weight or my health. I've been an SP member now for 6 weeks and have lost 6 pounds! Not a grand total but a great loss for me. I hope to get to know some of you better and be of support to those who need it. I'm a single mom, so I'm off working and now exercising a lot, so I may not be on here every day, but will as much as I can. So, Hi Everyone!

Hello everyone. It's so nice to meet you. My name is Debra. I joined a locally advertised Community Weight-Loss Challenge on March 5th. It was there that I learned about Sparkpeople. I joined SP on March 6th and have been using the Nutrition Tracker everyday without fail. My daily goal is to stay at 1200 calories and eat at least 75 grams of protein a day. So far so good. I've lost 6.4 pounds!

Hi to all. I have been a member since 3/4 and love this website. I have paid for the WW website before and didn't use it near as much as this one. There is so much good information and ways to keep on track.!! Love it. Good luck to all....

hi. im new here too. just trying to go through all the things that this site has to offer. this is great. lots of great stuff.

im 150 lbs and im trying to lose 30 lbs of that by the end of june. oh, im praying i could.

I am hoping to lose 20lbs in the next 3 months and need a way to keep on track. I'm good at starting to eat better and get started on an excercise program, but have trouble with the follow through. I'm hoping this helps.

Hi Everyone!
I found the Spark site just in time for me to commit myself to loosing 15 pounds and increasing my cardio.

If you haven't figured it out I weight 130 pounds which for most women is probably ideal except I'm only 5 feet tall. Not so great for my petite frame. So there is about 10-15 pounds of body fat that has got to go!

Also it is time for me to get my cardio health back. I was doing so great before an illness put me off my feet for about a year. Before the illness I was doing hour long workouts on the elliptical 3x's a week. My lungs were so strong then but now I get winded going up a flight of stairs. emoticon

I'm hoping that with the help of others like you I will be able to stick with the lifestyle changes I'm making. The first phase of this dieting part is going to be hard for me. The being active is easy but trying to loose the fat is going to take some effort.

Hi, I'm Christine, mom of two. I am trying to lose 15 pounds. I have some confessions, I eat too much, too late at night...I have a major motivation problem...meaning I have a really hard time working out after work and I can't seem to get up early enough to work out before work...I drink beer probably too much...Its hard for me to eat healthy when my husband is trying to gain weight....

I am trying to get healthy but have alot of obstacles to overcome as you can see....okay vent over
