We have gone over to DD for the last few years and I have walked with her while the kids are Trick or Treating. Not sure if we will do that again this year. I quit handing out candy several years ago and just make a few bags for the neighborhood kids and give them out early. We live close to the projects and get so many kids that it would break the bank handing out to all. And they are not the little kids it's the big ones that I have a problem with. We are talking kids that are bigger than me and probably in thier upper teens or who bring out infants in strollers to get candy. Now you know that babies are not eating the candy but the mama is. They brind car and van loads over here. I have even seen the driver get out and start knocking on doors for candy. I believe that that is to old to be Trick or Treating. Maybe you think that is wrong but I believe that this holiday is for little kids.

I live on a busy street with no sidewalk on my side of the street. I have not had trick or treaters in years. No children in the houses near me. Sunday afternoon my church will be having a harvest fest with games and jolly jumps and lots of candy for the children in our church and any others who would like to attend.
What are you doing, if anything, for Halloween?
We live in the country so we get very few trick-or-treaters--just a couple neighbor children. I have pumpkins in front of the garage. For work my team is dressing up as Oompa Loompas. Not sure how that is going to work out yet.
