I have been a "lurker" here for several months now and have finally decided to take the proverbial plunge.
I find myself in need of support and I'm thinking if I do something I have never done before, I might be more successful. So here I am.
I'm not sure how much information one generally puts into an introduction but I am a 53 year old woman who is basically healthy (none of the chronic complaints most of my friends have), eat pretty well (generally don't have a problem getting all my fruits and veggies in), fit (usually exercise 3-5x week but have fallen off the proverbial wagon for the last few months due to stress and family issues--the worst time to have this set-back, I know, but there you have it). Because I am fit, I weigh more than most people think. That said, I feel better in my own skin when I am about 25-30 lbs lighter than I am now. So that's my "big goal" . . . there are several smaller ones.
I'm not entirely sure what else to add . . .
Still feeling some trepidation but looking forward to what this may have to offer . . .
