-Welcome Lynne...It took me awhile to post here too! I will be 42 in three weeks- Hey congratulations on the 13 pound loss!!! -Way to go! I just finished Nursing school back in August, passed my State Boards in November and work in home health care. I know what you mean about seeing the many health problems due to being overweight. Hi everyone,

I joined sparkpeople about a month ago, but I've just been reading everything on the site and havn't had time until tonight to read some of the forums.
I'm 42, I work as an ultrasound tech and love it.
I have about 50 lbs to lose. I see at work many people who have many health problems due to being overweight and not eating healthy, so i am trying to avoid that myself. At my work we have started a biggest loser contest, so i have a weigh in every thursday. I like it, it keeps me on track. so far, I'm down 13 lbs in 4 weeks.I'm looking forward to the support and information of this group.
