Thanks, Sage, and to those who are way ahead of me on the welcome. I am excited (and a little nervous!) to step up as your co-leader. I am used to being a little more on the sidelines, but I asked Sagentus for the honor of co-leader for a few reasons:
(1) Sheís been so excited, rejuvenated, by your enthusiasm and mojo, if you will, to start. Itís a good reminder for us that have been here for awhile... a way to get the excitement back, too!
(2) I have gained SO much from Spark, itís time for me to give a little back in what way I can
(3) This is my way to also push myself forward in areas that need the pushing... not to just sit back and cruise. Iíve done well with Spark, but that does not mean I can become complacent.
A little about me: I am married with a total of six children and 4 grandchildren in our blended families. I work full time (and then some). I started Spark last June 2007 and have managed to drop 40 lbs in the process. I would like to continue with another 10 lbs. but am currently caught in the middle in war between my body and my hormones, LOL! This last 10lbs looks like it may take longer than the first 40!
Iíve restarted my Spark Stages to get myself back into gear, and will be moving stage-by-stage with you as well. Hereís to new beginnings, starts, restarts, falters, stumbles, etc. Itís all a part of the process of life and the same goes here. I am not perfect, just trying to do my best each day. Mondayís best may not be as good as Thursdayís best, but it will be my best. Thatís all we expect out of one another, right, just do your best. I am learning to be just as gentle with myself...
So, my new friends, hereís getting to know you. I am in Hawaii so at least a few hours behind you. I donít always have time to check in during the workday, but if you need an answer to something quickly, please do send a SparkMail and Iíll answer as soon as I can.
Aloha & malama pono (take care), Lana
