Hi, I know this is a late response, but what has worked for me is study breaks. I have those goody dancing games for Wii and Xbox, so I have little markers set. For instance this week I had 8 chapters to read and highlight, which for me involves various colors for specific things, so it takes me awhile. Anyway back to the point, after I finish reading the chapter I take a break for 20 minutes and play one of the games. Then I go back and highlight the other information, then 20 min game break. It give me incentive to get through the homework, and the games are fun, but also get me up and moving in between. This is just what has helped me.

Hello I;, in my third semester of clinicals and I know that I have to get some weight off. I need more energy to study. What have you been doing to lose weight?
“Don’t wait until everything is just right. It will never be perfect. There will always be challenges, obstacles and less than perfect conditions. So what. Get started now. With each step you take, you will grow stronger and stronger, more and more skilled, more and more self-confident and more and more successful.” ~Mark Victor Hansen
I'm in my 3rd quarter of nursing school, and in our first rotation of clinicals. I want to lose these last 50-60pounds so that walking and standing will not have me completely exhausted by the end of the shift.
