Welcome Irene-
I like to document the one-pound-at-a-time. During the summer I am a bad one going to the sweets!

Irene. Two bits of advice I can offer that have helped others is to
1. Aim to lose one measly pound, something we all can do. When you've done that, feel proud then work toward losing the next one pound. Repeated successes builds motivation.
2. Find an image that represents the weight you want to lose. I use 16-pound bowling balls. When I've lost, say, four pounds, I can visualize one-fourth of a bowling ball being cut away. It might be boxes of kitty litter, bags of apples or anything else that you can associate with.
Stay focused, determined and positive. -- Lou

Hello Irene and welcome to the team :) I am currently struggling too to maintain my goal weight. I think it's more difficult than actually losing the weight! I was actually considering trying to lose another 5 pounds just to stay motivated.. I wonder if that would work?? lol.

My name is Irene, I love in Missouri. I am a born again Christian and "I can do all things Through Christ" He is my strength.
I am struggling at staying at my goal weight. I have been up and down and up and down for several months. I hope to get re-motivated and give my support to the members of this team.
Looking forward to meeting you all.
Irene from Missouri
