One of my girls is a senior mastiff and watching them age is so very hard. My deepest sympathies to anyone that's lost a beloved pet. My other girl is a spazzmatic pit mix and I'm generally trying to get someone to "rent" her for a night or two. :p (Not really, I love her, she's just clinically insane).
Alyssa so sorry to hear about your pooch. I know how much a member of the family our pets are. My yellow lab is almost 10 years old, and average age for labs is 10 to 12 years. She groans when she goes to lay down now and has slowed down so much. I know I'm going to miss her so much when she's gone.
Sorry to hearabout your pooch, Alysia. My little man is getting on in years, and I know it will be terribly hard when he passes. He loves to watch me exercise, although he often gets in the way, thinking that we are playing somehow.
And WELCOME, Heather! Disney really does races well, so I hope you have fun at the Wine and Dine!
My dog passed away (old age and illness), but I still miss his quizzical look when I would be trying to roll out the kinks in my muscles and didn't want to play. He would sit at the end of my mat and not move, LOL!
Hope your training goes well :)

Welcome! The pups probably think you're copying them and are flattered. Our dog is long gone, but I do remember him being concerned anytime anyone was on the floor. Guess he thought if he couldn't get on the sofa, we shouldn't be on his floor.
Hi an welcome to the team! I love the Jeff Galloway method. It has made a big difference to me and I even set a PR using it for the first time in a 5k as opposed to my old method of just trying to run it. Good luck with your training!

Hi! Love the team name! Love the attitude. Fat runner here. I've done a couple of 5ks and against my better judgment agreed to do the Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon (of course the fat person would go for a foodie race).
Currently following the Galloway method and running 3x a week and cross training 2x a week and doing some random yoga poses when I need to stretch and/or freak my dogs out. Thanks for letting me join!
