And do stay with the program that tells you how much to run and what days. I ran 12 races last year and could not complety run 1 of them but I did not do a training program for them.
This year, I am doing a half marathon in 2 weeks and have been following a well laid out program and now I am able to run miles without stopping. When I am done with this and after some well deserved running rest time, I will start to follow a 5K training program. I know I can run a full 5K now, but need to work on that time.
